Scrap-Quilted Glasses Pouch

This glasses pouch features a front panel of patchwork floral prints that I made using scraps from mask-making this spring.

The back panel is a seam-reinforced length of heavy denim. I did not follow a particular pattern for this and just freely created it as I went. It is lined with a nice medium weight cotton.

I quilted the scrap pieces using my Singer 201 (1951) and then constructed the pouch itself using my Necchi BF Nova (50s era). I operated both machines using treadle / foot power to construct this.

Watch the video to observe as I use the Singer 201 to top-stitch over the patchwork for this piece.
