Mask Making on my Singer 201

Here I use my Singer 201 on a treadle to complete some masks (v.1 style)

In this video my 201-2, although operational for stitching on the treadle, was still in the process of being converted from potted motor power to treadle power. It was missing a bobbin winder.

Here’s the 201-2 converted to treadle with a bobbin winder installed. The lamp is fully functional which is why I left the power block in place.

Since the video I have completed the conversion by adding a re-purposed belt guard & bobbin winder from a model 201K (part # imported from the UK). It is also using a 9 spoked hand wheel from a model 66. Now, the machine is fully functional on treadle power and can wind bobbins!
